If you take good care of your handmade drinkware, you will be able to enjoy using it for many years to come. If you also use a polishing cloth made of micro fibre, you can dry your glasses without leaving fluff, stripes and stains on them.
- Wash your glasses by hand in warm water and a little washing up liquid. Don’t leave painted glasses to soak in water for a long time, because this may damage the colours.
- It is a good idea to place the glasses upside down on a linen cloth for a short while to let the water run off.
- Dry the glasses with a polishing cloth, preferably made of micro fibre. If you dry the glasses immediately, you will avoid getting stripes and stains on them.
The rims of handmade glasses are delicate, so the glasses should be stored the right way up (on their foot) in cupboards, without the rims touching each other so that they do not become chipped.
